Options & Tech Cards

These are just some of the valid cards that can be inserted in the deck. Cavendish is a good option against Lucy where you need to see as many cards as possible, the problem is that it is removed in all ways such as Zeus, Nojiko, Barrier etc. Taxbeard and Shambles are useful to earn a turn or do control board against Enel P, they are not on the list because for me Boa is stronger and more versatile in this meta.

Mulligan

1C searcher to look for the missing pieces in the curve + one of your 4C Character depending on the situation.

Curve 1st

1 DON
1C for the missing pieces in the curve.
3 DON
Repeat last turn and give one DON to your leader for the ability and swing 7 face.
5 DON
Atmos/Marco + 1 DON to leader for decrease opponent's pressure or Yamato if you need card for next turn/combo.
7 DON
Jozu bounces one of your 1C and removes a useful 6C to remove a threat, Boa makes you earn 1 turn against Enel P and Zoro brings the leader to 7K base but you don't have the DON assigned necessary for the ability. The choice depends a lot on the situation and against which deck we are.
9 DON
There's the strongest combo for the strongest Character, the father! Or take life if you need more time or if you are playing for Roger.
Late game
You can repeat your last turn or if you are in the right setup Roger is the card needed to finish the match saying goodbye to the opposing blockers.

Curve 2nd

2 DON
1C for the missing pieces in the curve + 1 DON to leader for the ability.
4 DON
Atmos/Marco for decrease opponent's pressure but you don't have DON assigned to leader.
6 DON
Many options in this turn and all valid, Jozu and Boa help you but they don't let you draw any DON. If you don't have the DON assigned, Yamato instead does the exact opposite and maybe it's the option I would choose but it depends on the situations.
8 DON
There's the strongest combo for the strongest Character, the father! Or take life if you need more time or if you are playing for Roger.
Late game

Tips

Key reminders and late game setup notes.

The deck doesn't have great tips or special combos, you have to remember which cards the searchers have seen to know when or what will arrive once you have turned the whole deck because it will happen. Another suggestion is not to be afraid to discard for the Leader's ability but to do it with intelligence because in late game you also have to prepare for an opponent Roger.
